    Default Fitting a front swaybar link kit

    Alright i've searched but could'nt find nothing ok i need to fit a new front link kit again last time i did it what i nightmare i had to jack up a side then lower one and all this crap to get the links on.Any way can some one explain to me what is the best quickest and easiest way to fit a new link kit on my front sway bar also how tight do i do the bolts up ? do i tighten them up as tight as i can without squashing the bush's?.I would appreciate any help i can get on how to fit front link kit as i want to do it tommorrow.

    buy the VB-VK commodore link kit from nolathane its $40-$50 and last alot longer than the VN to VX setup and is alot easier to install

    I got a vc out the back so i can use the links from that and just get new rubbers hey?.So if i use the vb - vk link kit i bolt it up to the control arm dont i ? when installing this link kit whats the best way to do it have to car up on engine stands ?

    jack the car up from the x-member and undo both side to move the sway bar out the way..... easy

    Thanks for that because last time i replaced them there was'nt enough thread to get the bolts on i had to lower one wheel at a time antil the links would poke through the hole then put the rest of the bilts and stuff on then jack that side back up and do the same to the other side. But the older model links that i'm putting on look alot easier to do

    dont know how well that will work by rights the sway bar should be wider than the vb-vl one and the link pins might end up on an angle..........i think

    I heard you bolt the link kit fom a vb - vk to the hole in the control arm i seen a VN at pick a part a month or so ago with the older model link kit on it.

    yeah iv seen a car at work with the same setup but didnt take much notice of it so it might work..... no harm in trying.... whats the worst that could happen

    Tighten the links up till the bushes are tightly fixed. Too remove them the best way is to loosen both sides and fit the links to the control arms first.
