    Default fuel pump/sender question

my fuel pump/ gauge sender looks to be leaking from the cork gasket that seals it to the tank. Could i used gasket goo to redo the gasket so that i don't have to completely remove the unit or do i have to source a new gasket? if so, were can you get them from

Definately get a new gasket, if its already leaking and you disturb it gasket goo wont save you. You can buy the gaskets at any parts store if they are out of stock just buy a cork sheet and be sure to use a fuel friendly sealant to help things mesh. Have fun

Yep, new gasket. Gasket goo and selastic will only break down with contact with fuel.

make sure to tension the bolt equally and dont overtighten as u will cause the cork to prematurely fail and will be doing the gasket again in the near future
