Hey guys, if there was a vn with 280 000kms that had been well looked after and regularly worked on for the last 10 000kms of its life and went through a pink slip first go, would u buy it, also it has a vy clubsport kit on it? custom steering wheel, and fully stock ( no cop trouble lol)

wouldnt matter if the engine or any part of the car is fully stock, with a bodykit like that you would get cop attention.

what price are they looking for? or is it your car and looking to sell it?

no its a car my mate is looking at buying, the bloke wants 4000 and we offered him 3500 and he is thinking bout it, but i think its to much, but then u gotta think the kit is worth 1000, and i know the steering wheel cost him 250 and then the stereo cost bout 800, and the last few services and parts fixing ect aparently he has receipts showing he spent like 2000 in the last 8 months, cause when he brought it it was rough and now he has got it running perfect

$4,000 for something with that many km's on the clock is a bit rich...especially if its stock.. Thats my 2 cents anyway. $3,000 perhaps?

executive, and like i said, its been kept really well, fully serviced runs smooth, ideles smooth, clean, touched up, clean interior, doesnt look like its got 280 000, looks more like 200 000, but yeah keep ur idea's coming im liking them.

imo vy kits on vn's look poo, especially the rear bumper sticking out 300km.

ok ahm, it does have rims yes, but only 15 roha rims, there cool, but bit small, stereo, body kit, ateering wheel, poperly fixed cai and pod, paint toched up, cleaned thouroly. nething else

i picked up a half stock exec the other day for $500 and it had rego passed roadworthy and mechanic said nothing wrong with it so i was stoked got 2 vns now and it makes me happy just hope these 18s i want will fit it ay

awsome, ok well im pretty sure i ill buy it atm, im gunna head down on monday and take for another test drive, and get the mechs double checked, then i will buy it and take pics for peoples to preuse lol

I got $3200 for my vp calais. With a full respray a month before, and an $700 stereo. (Head unit, amp and 6" rears)

Your getting ripped. Don't pay extra money for mods especially not cosmetic ones. The respray added about $500 to the value of my car and it looked like crap before it.

lol yeah true, but i dont live in or near a city, where i come from this is a good deal, and at this time i dont have the time to travel for a car, but i brought it today, pick it up next week sometime, prolly wednesdayish, neways, thanks guys for all ur help

lol, well geuss what i found a differnet vn, heaps better quality, no kit tho, but i worked out i can buy the body kit and rims and put on this vn for the same price actually a bit less. and its heaps better lol, so yeah, pics will still be here on friday like i previously said, thanks guys

Be careful where u get the VY kit from...alot of them are cheap moulds with large gaps at the moment...hard to find a good mould, unlike with the VX kit
