    Default Eaton M90 Super Charger

I have been looking at superchargers and have seen many Eaton M90 supercharges off 3.8L GM's (Pontiacs etc)
Does anyone know their compatability with the VN engine and what type of power they would put out or if anyone here has done it. Thanks

basically you would have to chop up and make a maniold to suit.UNLESS u hae an ecotec then you can get a manifold that will bolt up.

You would need bigger injectors, fuel pump... umm prob a tune to suit.. and prob alot more i cant think of at the moment

I think he means the manifold from the supercharged VIN1 motor, in which case it's a bolt on job, onto the VP motor (think) either the series one or 2 will be bolt on anyway

i'd actually like to go the eaton way as well, as the eaton m90 is quite the decent charger, but i have never been able to find a manifold that suits the conversion though.

Here you go , of couse there will be some hoses to fix and because the Buick in the VN-VR was from a front wheel drive car (that's why its in back to front in the VN). You can see the throttle body is hanging off the back of the charger but I guess the thing to do is either get the 90 degree bend off the super 6 ecotec for the back of the charger (if that fits) or the whole ecotec charger and whack that on there

You can get a supercharged manifold from the USA and mount it on the old buicks if you can find one, you will have to throw away the charger however that you get with it as the neck is designed for a car with the engine mounted sideways. Other than that you have to ask if its worth putting an eaton M90 on as they kick out quite a bit of heat and cause you issues in some cases. CJJET has one on his buick but its intercooled.

That one in the picture looks like its designed for the VN series 1 buick aswell as the thermostat is at the rear of the manifold.

Would work out cheaper to get a raptor kit i rekon after you got it on and tuned.

EDIT: This one maybe ? could be for ecotec though...
