Immobiliser

I have just put a NP series II motor and trans into my HQ ute. I also replaced the HQ wiring loom with one fom the commodore. The problem I have is how do I reset the immobiliser to allow the car to start from the ignition switch. Currently to start the car i turn the ignition on then I run a wire from the starter to the battery. Can anyone help?

I dunno mate. My VP has all the factory security stuff but the ****heads at the car yard lost the remote so turned the system off, now the security manufacturers that holden sent me to won't answer my calls or emails.

There's gotta be a way to wire up a bypass like a kill switch or something, maybe a switch in line with the 12v that feeds the security, that way you can just flick it off and start the beast.

That'd be phreaking awesome. I wanna get my immobiliser happening but since the security mob are as useful as tits on a bull then it's been a non-event.
