I use Kumho Ecsta's...if thats how its spelt lol

    225/50/R16's for $114 each

When I bought my car it had Bridgestones on it...went to have them replaced and they were $280 a tyre...But the Kumho's seem to perform just as well...

Federal tyres, the high performance patterns like FD1, 535 and 595. Bloody good value, about the same price as Sava's but much better quality. If you're after 14/15 inch, a fat set of FD1's are kind on the hip pocket and stick to the road quite nicely. Only problem with feddies is that their cheap patterns are cheap in every sense of the word. Taxi tyres, yuck. The aforementioned three patterns are very good though. I work for the buggers that wholesale them so I've done a fair bit of driving on these things.

Bridgestone are quite possibly the most overpriced pieces of pus on the market, they perform ok generally, (Potenza's are awesome) but they just cost too damned much. A mate of mine was recently quoted $180 a corner for 185/60R14 potenza's! That's the opposite of value.

Yeah no way could i justify spending that much money on tyres...Its ridiculous...Kumho is good value for money I think, but it depends on the tyre too
