just browsin through ebay and came across this
http://cgi.ebay.com.au/CALAIS-VP-CLI...QQcmdZViewItem
That's a bit steep. I seem em on there routinely for around $20-$30.
full conversion mate not the controll panel everything needed to convert a stocky system into climate controll
What else would be included for a 'complete conversion'? Would it cost a mint to have it installed?
no idea dude its something i wouldent attempt myself but a few technicclly savvy people out there might be able to give it a go youd probably have to ask the seller exacly what comes with it and if you need anything else for the conversion
that would be sick to have
I think would need a complete A/C box?? and different wiring loom, sun load sensors, ambient temp sensors , vacum solenoids etc.
This unit is not a complete conversion.

yeah i bouhgt an engine off that seller (from trading post) and he will give you what he sells
Meh not worth the effort. Climate in the early girls was a joke, I'd rather normal aircon.
indeed dude i bought a few things off him recently i just got a full central locking conversion and electric mirror conversion for me vs poverty pack ute so far so good, even holden told me it was a no hoperOriginally Posted by CSL
Yeah i asked him through Ebay and he said its not just the screen, comes with everything mentioned earlier and a few other things he said?
p.s. any1 here know how hard this would be to install in a car? Is it too much hassle?
in the S2 not soo hard, in the S1 id say ALOT HARDER
considering the S1 calais didnt have climate control/ the wiring loom so you'd have to make you own ect.. lotsa work
Tis tempting...considering my freaking fan controls wont friggin work anyway...i've been rather tempted to just pull the old control box out and beat the sh*t out of it with a hammer from frustration...Originally Posted by PaRaDoX616

Didn't need to pull the windscreen out to put the sensors in my VP.
Have done this conversion and a bit tricky but not to bad
Alot of the dash needs to come out and they come out in bits and peices, not like a ford that the whole dash can be moved.
i found the dash in the vn's fairly easy to remove i did a compleat interior swap in my vn from granny poo brown to a grey berlina interior
