hey man kuzzy here i have a vp wagon, an i leave here in adelaide an i was looking at dropping in a v8 in to mine an mine also being a 3.8 ltr an the quotes i got were pretty pricy around $3500 $5000 installed but are you willing to the coast of petty these mate i aint hehe ****n hell petrol is so expensive its gay :b: anyway man all the best

It will cost you exactly the price of a slightly smashed 5 liter VN, engine crane hire and the petrol to drive to the rego office to change the engine number :P, so about 2 grand : )?

ohh yeh excatly as foam said ud need a side or rear crash and just strip it

I've seen 5litre's for vn's for sale for like $1200 thats with wiring and loom and that.

so you dont have to modify crossmembers or anything at all

You unbolt the K-frame and bolt the V8 one in place, you can even lift the car over the complete V8 front end, drop the car onto it and do up the struts and kframe bolts
