    no worrys!!
it would probly be easier to get a vr/vs with rear end damage(a write off)
then you will have all the parts you will need.
and then you could change the dash and everything.
but thats if you have the money

Dude you reminded me of a story, last time I was in Adelaide I was cruising the suburbs in my VN V6 with the windows down with my wife in the passenger seat and this Red XC falcon come up behind me and absolutely floors it, BWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH HHHHHHHHHH blasted past my window almost made me deaf and screamed at me "GET A V8 MATE!!!!!" as he hammered passed

P.S I have since taken his advice and we will see about a rematch if I ever see him again

There is some diffrences. The tabs that hold the lights will need to be cut off. As the VR bonnet sits lower.

i went to do it on my vn wagon as i have already done the vr engine n gearbox swap plus the full vs interior swap including dash, if using the vr\s headlights u need to internally rewire the lights using the vn headlight loom. as vn\p use a positive switch to turn on the lights vr\s use a negative, lol i spent 3 days tring to figure the headlights out lol till i figured the difference hehehe, also the headlight support is to narrow to fit the vr\s lights in properly they need some helping out with a 10lb hammer, also did ur rad support get damaged in the hit? if so go to a wreckers and get a front cut from a vs and have it welded onto ur vn and the everything will be bolt-on and look the part.

Go buy a wrecked VS you'll pic one up for under a grand easy. And if you don't want the engine sell that off for $300 or so and you'll come out way ahead. You'll also have a full dash and interior to chuck in your VN.

god damn that looks funny ^^ I'm not sure I'm such a fan of front-end swaps. Quite a rice-esque concept, what with people putting s15 noses on 180sx and 240sxs etc.

I also personally prefer the VP front end to the VS or VT front. Not sure why, I just find it far easier on the eye. Same with the rear end actually, now that I think about it. VS/VT interior is certainly worth a swap though. The VP trim is a bit dated. And by "a bit" I mean totally.

I like the VN front....except for the headlights...I would rather do a headlight conversion than a front end conversion...

Yea, I agree with that. Letterbox grille isn't a bad upgrade either. Either way, I can't stand the clear plastic grille that came bolted onto the VP S1. (see picture). The VP SS front end is about as good as it gets imho

Funny that, the clear grill is my favorite bit on the VP front , are you saying the clear grill was only on the series one?. I'm not sure what series mine is since I don't know what changed but the build date would suggest very early series 2

hehe, it could have been on S2 also. I just know mine's an S1. I could grow to like the clear grille though. saying "I can't stand it" was a lie really. I'll give it some time... I don't dislike it, it just doesn't do much for me.

I certainly have a dislike for the VR/VS front end though. The lights just don't seem to flow with the rest of the car. :/
