cant find diagnostic plug

i cant find my diagnostic plug to check my fault codes on my 89 exec vn can anyone help and tell me where it is

yea i still cant see it i must be blind but i just cant see it is it up high or down low?? i can find it in my ss but i cant see it in the exec

its under the kick panel on the passenger side under the glove box Cheers Phoenix21

It's probably hanging just behind the glovebox somewhere, it'll be somewhere in that general area, can't have got too far!, they are slow runners : )

i still cant find it fellas is it the same sort of plug as a vr?? or is it a different plug can someone describe to me wat it looks like i pulled my kick panel of and lookin at the ecu and just cant see it

oh yeah, different plug to the VR : ) there's pictures of it on the forums, but you might need to do some searching

found it it was a white plug with 6 things. i shorted it and my engine light flashed once paused flashed 3 times so i think that works out to code 13 i think?? but ive searched and its my o2 sensor dunno wats wrong there??

yeap, that would be code 13, o2 sensors fail, dont forget, it's a 17 yr old car, the o2 sensor will have to die eventualy with hot air all over it,
its on the passangerside of the car, in the engine bay, located on the exhaust manifold, just before the exhaust flange, it will be a single wire one for yoru vn

My light is on all thie time. What do you mean shorted it?
how do i find out what code and stuff mine has?
