do the toyota superchargers have a big diffrence in power when on a buick
v6?
has anyone got any spec`s on it?
and also a DIY thread maybe
thanx
Real cars don't power the front wheels, they lift them
I think its meant to be about a 30% gain? Do a search, theres heaps on this
ive only ever been in one but in all honesty a $600 cam would give you more power than one of those chargers
im not admiring your car im looking in disgust
so do u think it would be worth buying it or just cam and chip package?

id guarantee a cam and chip package will give you more power than the sc14 charger not to mention that the cam and chip package will cost less than half the price of the charger kit.... unless your willing to put hours into making your own brackets and charger flanges

one last thing my local speed shop said they have installed 7 of the crs kits and have taken 7 back off lol
if you can find som1 local who has a kit fitted and who will take you for a spin youll see why im so against them

what kind of power increase do you get out of a cam package? ive thought about getting the sc14, but if the cam is better and cheaper then maybe ill look into that
1995 Manual HSV Clubsport
Wade Cam :: 9.2:1 CR :: Pacemaker headers :: Twin 2.5" Exhaust :: VT Brakes
1991 Supercharged VN Berlina
9 PSI SC14 Intercooled :: Genie headers :: Twin cats :: HM Twin 2.25 exhaust :: 3.45:1 LSD
The toyota blower can and will make over 150 rwkw at 6 psi with no intercooler and run 1/4 miles in around 14.5 or a touch faster. You need a big cam and ported heads to make that without boost, but the blown motor will be making much more torque than the camed motor and will be quicker. I'd take a guess a 150 rwkw V6 with cam and ported heads would only be in the high 14's
The thing is you have a much more legal looking car with the cam and ported heads
