Yup they built quite a few HSV 3800's you'll see them getting around if you pay attention, little bit quicker than a stocker

I got the SV 3800 motor in my car, Had it transplanted because I found it for a good price, Few minor differences, Nothing to really brag about, Yet I have no plates saying it's HSV though, but I do have a letter somewhere that I got mailed to me confirming engine number as a SV 3800 motor.

    Cheers
    MaT

P.S- Mines a S1 motor... An it's a SV 3800....... That's the strange part................ I dont fkn get it...... But then again, The heads an manifold were changed to S2 lol.........

    EDIT:

Your friends looks like a HSV+ Berlina?!? Commodore......

It's HSV anyway, should be a sticker on the boot though I think, HSV bages, wheels, seats, build plates, close enough for me

Ah i have heard of the DMG90 but no1 knows anything about it really... I wanted 1 cause its my initials...DMG

Where does that list come from Airstrike?
I was told the +6 did not come out until the VP, with a 92 and 93 range??
I have never heard of the SV6 or Challenger and i thought LE would simply by Limited Edition and LS Limited Series or something? Non-HSV

Do you have any more info or power statistics etc or a source?

All info is from the HSV 10th anniversery book.
All V6 power outputs are either stock of SV3800 spec.

Hey people i just noticed in the pictures, the one of the interior pic, the Dash cluster more importantly the tachometers etc they look to be either police pack or stage two dash which was all the 4 indicators Revs, speedo, fuel , temp. Didn't HSV's all of them (Correct me if i am wrong) come with the level three dash tacho's which had the logo's actually on the dash next to speedo and revs ?

Looks like a mock up Wanna be HSV lol. just my two cents.

HSV Build plates over rule a level two dash I doubt the V6's were so fancy to get the posh dash
