Transmission Question

Ive been trying to work out wat sort of transmission is in my car. Does anybody know? Ive got that 25yrs of holden book and its saying the same transmission for v6 and v8 which is obviously not good for v8s but i guess it depends on how u look at it. Anyway does anybody know if the v8s had a different tranni to the 6's or did they just bung in the same one?

im pretty sure they're was minor changes in the tranny.. not a bit diffrences tho... anyway most 5.0L still around are manuals
