should i paint this?

hey there guys! just got a simple question, should i paint the grey alluminium gutter around the windows? i have got a baby blue vn and just wondering if they look better when you paint them? and how do you get the sill strips off?

ok, the "gutter" you refer to is called a bailey channel, personally i think it looks a little weird when people spray them...plain black or chrome looks best in my opinion.
to remove bailey channels you need to undo the screws underneath them (they're just inside the top of the door recess) and "unclip" to pieces.

yes but not blue. i did mine black that way all the area around the windows mirrors is black. neat and simple

i wanted to do the handles but

i ranout of paint and could only get the paint in big spray cans so would have had heaps left over

did you spray directly onto the metal, did you sand or use an undercoat?

cleaned the moulds really well then:
sprayed them with plastic primer because they are made of plastic

then spray it with the colour i wanted

and if spraying with them still on the car mask up for over spray because there will be lots
