    Default Central locking motor VQ

    Hey
Few days ago my central locking motor on my driver side has stoped working. IF you use it manually it still make the other door locks go up and down but it won't work with remote so because of this i am guess motor is stuffed.
There are i think 5 wires that go into it. Am i best to get a second hand motor or would it be easy enough to put an after market one in such as a autowatch one, as these just have a trigger wires and power etc. I just am not sure as i don't know how it works that you put the drivers lock up and down and the other locks move, so i dono if there sensors are in the motor or what. Just curious at to what other people have done.

    cheers

sometimes the wires on the bottom of the motor come off, check that and also check that your wireing is good because it can get cut where it goes into the door

anybody have a wireing diagram so that i can find out what each of the five wires do so i can connect it to an aftermarket motor. I check the wires and they all have an earth or power of some sort so its not the wiring.
    cheers
