D.i.y Sc14 Kit

gday pplz
i am currently nearly finished my mock up "crs" kit to suit v6 vn seies 2.
After afew attempts at making my kit ive made it fit between the hood and engine bay.
But my main problem is that i need an idler pully bracket.
Ive had it sitting on my spare motor many times, everything lines up,
but i need an idler pully bracket.
i was considering modifing a stock v6 idler bracket, i was thinking about grinding it right doen so it has 1 hole to mount to a thread coming off the block, than mounting it very tight so it doesnt move.

can someone please show me a picture of a crs idler pully bracket or
one they have made, thanks.

no i cant
i dont have aircon
so i am using an aircon belt, but because the blower i closer than the aircon i need sonething to take up the tension,
i have it sitting on the spare motor, with a belt.
it all lines up except the belt is too long, so i need an idler pully to take up the rest of the slack. and i believe the alternator or the blower might slip without it. cheers for the reply

Cant you just whack in an aircon motor because they spin around without being in use i've never seen a vn without aircon do they still have the control switches tho

i cant put aircon on because than the belt will be too short
. can someone tell me how to post pics?
all i need is an idler pully bracket of some sort.
i might have too make one maybe or customize a v6 idler bracket grunding the crap out of it till blower alternator and water pump clearence is acheived.

i pulled the compressor, the front radiator for the aircon out.
all the hoses and the bottle.
it didnt even work anyway, and the button just snapped off and now theres a cool green light there

i ve decided i,m probobly going to modify a v6 idler pully bracket
i wil get one from the wreckers and grind off the alternator mount.
than the powersteering pump mount so it only has 1 hole left than mount it off the block under the blower.
my only problem is it getting to fit inder the blower
and making sure its tightly mounted at the right angle that will keep the belt nice and tight.
wish me luck, lol
hopefully i will be able to test the blower today.
than all i need to do is get some imlet pipe, outlet pipe and a show off valve.

just get a custom made belt.. i did in my conversion coz i scrapped power steer and aircon, im down in tassie and a place called purple pig down here made mine to the measuremnt i gave them...

yea purple pig should be able to help you out. i see you're in melbourne. there's one in bayswater and sunshine.
