when driving around for a while if i give the car a bit, not all the time it will just die, dead in the water, this only happens after high revs. and then it will crank but won't start for at least 20 mins, when it does start it runs pretty average for the first few minutes
wondering if its a fuel issue or a spark issue?
car doesn't sputter or anything before it does it just drives then cuts out.
anyhelp would be awesome.

Next time it happens, open the bonnet and pour some water over the crank angle sensor (the sensor on the passenger side of the harmonic balancer which is the big pully on the bottom front of the motor). If it starts straight away, replace the CAS as you're all good.
When they die, they cut out when they get hot. Go with that for starters.
Worth a shot anyway.

yeah sounds like a good shot, yeah coz it only happens when i starts to heat up a smidge, so i sit for about 20-30 mins, temp drops and then it starts, i have the calais with all new sensors and stuff so i'll just nab it off that if that fixes it, sounds like a good solution though
