Your Opinion: Colour Coding?

Hey guys, I dropped my car off at Adelaide Special Vehicles this morning and while I was there they asked if I wanted the car debadged...yes...exterior door trim taken off...yes..

But then they asked if I wanted the door handles and mirrors colour coded white? The car is there until next Thursday so I told them I would get back to them...but what do you think? Instead of black mirrors and door handles do white ones look better on a white car?
Personally I dont know...I painted the outer window trim black...and so the black mirrors dont look too bad and with dark tint its not a bad look, but i cant seem to imagine it in my head?

The normal pic of my car is below...Can anyone photochop it for me to make the mirrors and handles white please?



p.s. I have VZ SS vents going on the guards which are black anyway...so perhaps that would go with the black door handles? I dunno
The rear garnish is black, and the plates are silver on black as well....but the new kit will have dark blue highlights... on front, sideskirts and rear

White mirrors look the part, I did them on mine. I left the handles black though, otherwise I thought there'd be too much white.

I think chrome/polished handles and a white mirror, but unsure how you will get shiny handles:!)

This isnt very on topic, but i love how after u paint the outer window trim (gutters i think there called) it makes even a stock commodore look so much more sporty, and i think that black door hanldles and mirrows with black vents look sick, ur car is one of the coolest looking, prolly cause thaint isnt a metalic shiny stuff, i think the matt look is good on it, just get a simple body kit like a grp A and ill buy it of you hahaha lol, but congrats man its sick

here is my VN BEFORE it got flogged by some ######## and written off.
Well at least the cops got the pricks a few months later as i had to sign a declaration saying i did not give them permission to use my car and crash it and blow the motor.. lol ..

Any way back on track here it is with white mirrors which i prefer

i like the look of the white door handles and white mirrors.put a piece of white cardboard on the handles and see if you like it

i would paint the mirrors but keep the door handles black. thats what i would do anyway.

I got the vents in guards for $200...but that was second hand off another VN.

The only place I know that sells them is JHP Performance (they advertise them in Street Commodores) and they are like $800 for new guards with the vents pressed in...But the vents themselves are around $120 or something i think. It cost me $33 just for the globe and harness each

Well I think I will go white handles....what about chroming the mirrors? or would that just be too ricey?

Really, i would like to see it with the kit on and the guards in so that i can make a better decision, but then i would have to do it myself...having it done free is mighty tempting

did you pop off the gutter thingys and paint em or mask and paint, it looks like a good thing to do as for the handles leave em black good contast, the white is a hard one unless it's a really shmick paint job the'll look crap cause you can get away with alot more stuff with black

Yeah true...popped them off to paint...but theres one or two spots where it has come got a small bit thats flaked off..so i might have to do it again (just mask and leave em on tho...touch up job)

Just to let everyone know I have decided to go for white mirrors and handles...I found pics of white handles and they look really good, as do the mirrors.

good choice mate colour codiing always looks good. car should be looking great when ya get it back

i never liked my black handles on my white stato so got them colour coded but with a chrome handle looks sweet.

Ah they are doin the mirrors and handles for free because I have been waiting for ages for this kit to be finished. Same with the exterior door trim and badges.

But the kit is costing a pretty penny, which adds to why they are doin it free of charge...but its an investment in my own happiness
