    Default Extractor Help

A mate of mine has just offered me his old set of extractors from his VN for my VP but I need to know 2 things
    (1. Will they fit my car?
    And
    (2. I have herd some extractors can give u a bad take off (low revs) because of the lower back presser because they are designed for worked engines the ones that he is offering me are a "hi-tech" brand. My car only has minor mods like intake and chip no internal work .I am also hoping to fit a sports exhorts when fitting the extractors.
Can any one shed some light
    Thanks guys
    Nick

    Coiners:

I'm running extractors and a 2.5" straight through exhaust, mine's pretty beefy when I put my foot down. You will need to put on an exhaust to go with it, so yes fit them at the same time if your gonna do it.

I can't see anything wrong with your VP if they have come out of a VN (fitting wise).

    Cheers,

    Wes

Yes they will fit your car. VN - VR are all the same.

And I would not worry about low end power with Hi-Tech extractors...Is he giving you them for free?

my old car i fitted pacemaker comp extractors and i found that i was getting more power high end than low, was a little better low. depends on the type they are but even fitting extractors with a exhaust ur not going to beef the car up alot, suppose with my old car with the extractors and exhaust system the guy was saying i would get 30kw more out of it.

Cant complain with that... They would not be a great set of headers in comparison to paceys or even lukey extractors but for a slab its
