    Default Just Finnished Lowering Rear

I just finnished lowering the rear of my vn i'm gonna do the front tommorrow anyway i was thinking about chopping my springs not long ago but after reading all the threads i decided to do it properly anyway got a second hand set for the whole car for $80 from the wreckers. The springs are still brandnew virtually they where only in the car they got taken out for 3 months virtually not a mark on them apart from abit of dust but once clean shinning brightly red.Well i dont know how low they are meaning dont know if there just low or superlow or what but when i stood them next to my stock springs the stock springs where nearly 3coils higher the rear tyre sits under the gaurd a bit looks grouse i cant wait until i do my front 2morrow so does anyone knowwhat size low these would be the front dont look to big at all either.Oh and i have got 15inch vnss wheels and the rear tyre sits under the gaurd where i cannot get my hand or a finger in between the tyre and gaurd .

With normal sized VN SS tyres which were 205/65's...They would be a Pedders equivalent to Superlows seing as they are red..

Ok i just finnished putting in my front springs and shockers i'm rapped it's a big differance from the factory hight to how it is now.The front tyres sit under the gaurds you cannot slid your fingers flat accross tyre under the gaurd at all the only way is to stick your fingers / hand up through the gaurd on an angle. My car looks so much better and differant i'm rapped.

When doing the front springs, don't forget the notches on the top spring holders point at the tire !

Yeah! i worked that out last night when i was putting them back in [turn it this way then that way hang on back this way oh! beutiful thats how they sit] i should've looked when i took them out oh! well there in now.I'm pretty mechanical minded i do narly all the work that needs to be done to my car first time i have replaced front springs and shocks it's a peice of piss to do also having the rattle gun and the air ratchet [socket handle] made it all the much easier. But when i was undoing the top nut to get the front spring off boom it flew forward i was'nt exspecting that but oh! well it's all good there in now.I'm taking some photo's today i'll get them developed Monday and post them up for you all i have'nt got a digital camera anymore as i gpt pinched out the car.
