should i get a cut and polish?

hey all,

just booked my car in to get a cut and polish to remove my oxidisation of the paint. but i have since been told that it is a fualt in the paint when it was put in and it will just happen again unless i really cut and polish it lots. so should i get it done for about $150 or should i just get a respray (a cheap job)? it is getting pretty bad and need to do something soon!

Depends how cheap a cheap respray is for you? Can you afford a respray now? If not give the cut and polish a go i reckon and see how it goes

yeah atm i dont have the money to get a respray at all new computer is more important

but i think a cut and polsih will get rid of it. its just a matter of me keeping it polished!

My dad's VN oxidizes quite badly. A cut and polish makes it look sweet for about a month, then it's back. Don't wanna cut through all your paint though, so do it sparingly.
