Second hand shocks/springs?

Hey guys

I've got the opportunity to buy some KingSprings Superlows and shortended Monroe GT Gas shocks for cheap, second hand.

The shocks are about a year old. They are in reasonable condition from what he tells me, but obviously i don't know for 100% sure.

They are a really good price and i will prob. buy them. However have any of you had bad experiences with 2nd hand shocks/springs? If there is anything i want to be sure of in my car, its safety options like suspension.

Do you think i'll be alright? Or not worth the risk?

make sure the sprigns arent cut. id personally buy new stuff, unless u trust the guy, but if u cant afford new, then sounds good

springs should be fine.. have a good look at shockers. u should be fine

Used springs should be fine, mine were/are, no problems, shocks, well id be checking them

hi, guys, I am also looking for shock and spring for the vn, where could I got second hand in sydney, I found a wrecker in botany but the only one they could get is normal one about 70 for the front pair. how much should I pay for a good one like king spring and some good shocks. thanks
