Is this a good price 4 vn calais cluster

I have found a place thats got afew VN Calais clusters i have been quoted $125 For a cluster is this a good price or is it bit dear?

Its probably a tad dear. I would look for something around 80-100$

I wouldnt say its dear, most sell above this price. Remember something is only expensive if yout hink it is, if you are happy to pay the price, then it is all good

I bought a level 2 cluster for my sisters car for 70 bucks at a wrecker. Level 3 should not be too much more.

i got mine for $110 with the blue led conversion done already... if thats cluster and 4th connector then maybe thats ok but you can do better.... look on ebay, usually go for about $80.

If you pay over $50 for cluster including buttons & loom... It's too expensive, the few i've gotten with looms/buttons full $50..... And I've charged $20ish to install average Blue Led's for $15

Sold my stage 2 cluster for $40... There worth about that. Not $70.....

Same, i paid 40bucks for my lv2 cluster, though the odometer was broken on it and stopped at like 340,000km..... Probably not the best tacho dash as the guages are pretty sticky, including the tacho

in wa from a wrecker that is about normal form private sale would be a bit diff.

I got my lvl2 cluster at the wreckers for $20 altho i didnt really show him it was a LVL2

120$ Sounds a bit steep, i would be asking 100, if not 80-90

I also got quoted at a wreckers $120 for the trip computer switch's and $125 for the cruise control switch's but i found some for a lot cheaper than that.

yeah, the average price will be $150ish, but if u can find it at a self serve wreckers they're alot cheaper... but you cant always find them so just keep looking, its a item that sells quickly

you will always find people that will claim they can get stuff a lot cheaper than they really can, or they assume that because they got it at a bargain price that everyone else should too.....I have sussed out numerous wreckers for l3 clusters for vn's and I can tell you that just for the dash alone you will be lucky to pay under $100.
Wreckers tend to overprice items as we all know, but it often depends on your connections that gets you the best deal. Phone around, and get the wreckers competing with themselves, eventually they should lower the price down somewhat..also the condition of it will influence the price factor.

You could always look for private sales, but this type of item is not so readily available, no matter what people may claim, especially considering you can no longer buy them new.

Thanks for the info Isprewell I've picked myself up a vn calais cluster fairly cheap aswell i'm rapped i also got the trip computer switch block for a third of the price from what most wreckers quoted me.Well as i said i'm rapped all i got to get now is the extra plug on the back of the cluster and the lug for the trip comp and i'm all set and on my way to installing my L3 cluster
