not mode for car? lsd or wat?

Hey all,

my mate wants to put an lsd in his car but is there anything else that would be better bang for buck first? and what gears should he get?

he has a series 1 vn v6 with extractors, exhuast and a cai.

so what are the best options for him? he is also thinking about a bigger tb.

bigger throttle body is a waste of money. especially on the v6

what does he need the lsd for? traction or burnouts?

If it's not a highway cruiser then a set of non spinable sticky tires and 3.7 gears would be the best go fast per dollar for the V6, not much point wasting money on the engine itself unless you are going to pull it apart and fix it properly

he will be using it as a daily driver, and i dont think he will be doing too many burnouts. He got told that 4.11 was to high and to get 3.7.

3.9 Would be an awesome ratio, good for fwy Doesnt get the revs up extremely to high so your fuel efficency wont be out the window.
