Need Help With Damn Door Lock

im trying to get the door trim off and iv got everything off except for the red locking tab. iv read a few threads on how to do it but im confused, iv tried so many ways to get it off and nothing works. what is a good thing to use and which direction does it come off? i need as many details as possible.

dont worry bout it, i got if finally after alot of cursing and carying on and finding something decent to use.

I got a thin knife and pulled it out that way. Pretty easy once you've done it.

Haha after I got the door trim off my car I then had to super glue back together the lock piece from all the bits it shattered into trying to pry it off.

Small flat head and a soft face hammer and put it straight in to the guts of it. Ive got plennty of got ones so thats why I dont care when I break them
