I was just a little worried as it took so long and i got nothing other then the box. I was a little cheesed off, The first thing i ordered was the shocks, Done the springs 3 days later and now it's a whole week after that and they finally arrived, I could have had them fitted twice when doing the springs and even the exhaust.
thanks guys

and just checked the monroe site, its the right part number.
if u cant find the part number on the monroe site i might still have the box from my shocks. i will check tomorrow if u want, but it might be different from sedan to wagon im not sure
Adam
and just for you adam, wagon and sedan are different, as they have different mounting points so are different lengths.
ok thanks for that!!
where do the sedan shocks mount to?
Adam
Only different on the rear though of course... Front is exactly the same.
Thanks for the Pic Adam.
Thanks Hakhawk for the info.
I can see what you mean about them mounting different on the rear, I didn't know they sat like that on a angle on the wagon's.
Can anyone give me me some tips on sticking them on. Should i grab some ramps reverse up and just take them off one by one is it that easy? O do i need to raise the car in anyway because they are shorten?.

then just unbolt the old shocks and stick the new ones in.
So just get the wheels off the ground, Is it OK to go one side at a time?.
Dam i need a jack![]()

I was a bit worried about jacking it up then jumping in the boot to loosen the bolt in there i might drop the carI have that type of luck to
Actually my mate might have stands i could borrow get the rear up in one shot![]()

Adam
shortened shocks should be more than an inch shorter. i have a set of pedders lowered shocks in the back on my car are they would be at least 3 inch's shorter
i reckon 1 side at a time is a lot easier too.
I'll go one at a time but I'm thinking can i jump in the boot and undo the bolt nut in there before a raise the car up?. Not to confident of jumping in the boot when it's up off the ground, Bad memories![]()

oh and just incase u didnt know you will need a pair of vice grips to hold onto the bolt part of the shock(the bit that goes through the floor)to stop the shock from spinning when you undo it
Adam
OH yes thanks for that you twigged my mindI remember my brother doing that in his EF, Aren't they lucky back seat job
