Default Respraying top half of car, watchya think??

hey, the top half of my car is faded, its a calais (see pictures in my ride section in my signature)

its MENT to be alpine white but its faded white, i was considering either respraying (and touching up stone chips/scratches) in flat alpine white
or alpine white with metallic flakes in it, ive just finished spraying the side skirts in acrilic and i dont think the top half of the car would be terribly hard, just lots of prep work

anyway just looking for opinions here

All VN's are faded by this age..unless the paint is in bad condition, dont worry about it man.

I accidentally voted to paint it flat alpine white though instead of nothing...hehe whoops

I've always had problems with metallics. Hard to do evenly.

It's totally doable. With the metallic it'd look awesome. It's important to do lots of thin layers with metallics, otherwise you end up with dull patches. Also, clear coat is your friend with metallics, really brings the depth out.
