Newb help

Ive got a series one VN runnng on LPG.

I would like to know what people would recomend as brands for filters and oil and such i should use. And any minor modifactions i can make that could help run a bit smoother?

Also, within the first few months i burnt out 2 coil packs, ive been told it was due to the engine running too hot at times. Ive placed a series 2 coil pack in, and also will soon be changing the thermostat. If this happens again is tehre anything you could suggest i do to further reduce engine temp?

Any ideas will be apreciated.

i had the same problem with the coilpack. VN coilpacks are rubbish.

get a VP DFI and coilpack set. but i would recommend having the ECU checked.. this was the cause of my coilpacks continuing to blow up.

With the oil, Id go Shell Older Engine Oil. The Filter, Ryco or Repco brand filters are usualy pretty good. If you dont care about your car then get one of those shit Cooper or Silverline ones.

coopers are accutalli one of the best brands for oil filters..ryco is good also
