Unhappy No spark to 3 and 6,Mystery problem

    Hi guys

today the car suddenly began to rev hard and have no/little power, at first i thought it was a hole we found in the exhaust, replaced it and the issue kept on going. so we changed the plugs and cables, still happening. then we discovered that when you take the leads off the ing coil - on 3 and 6 nothing happens, yet the other 4 sparks all make an obvious difference when you remove the cables off the coil pack. so we changed the coil pack..

the problem is still ongoing, im still not getting and spark to 3 and 6 with a new coil pack... any suggestions? im going through money and patience really quick... and im stuck in Sydney with a V6 running only 4 cylinders! :b:

it's usually the DFI module that is to blame (molten resin is a giveaway). check the ECU as well (this needs to be done by a qualified tester).

doesnt 3 and 6 fire together from the same coil? if so replacing the coil could fix it

it was the DFI, put a series 2 def and coil on and away she went. ... wasted money on a coil that they guy wouldnt refund - bit frustrating but its going
