I doubt if you can call the front 4 inch things speakers... More like round peices of cardboard that make noise...not sound...noise

    Fronts:
the shape of the tabs of the front ones are a paint too, sort of angled at 45 degrees, with three tabs, not four (usual replacement type), so they are a pain to fit aftermarket ones in... but not much we can do :S... screw em in as tight as possible and hope theres no vibrations.

    rears:

easy changeover to 6" ones.. cant remember if i had to drill a couple more holes, but either way, easier than fronts..

    Mine did the same

Fit a set of VR/VS Door pods in and put 6" in them.

i have one car with 6 inch splits al round adn one with 6x9's. i think the splits are clearing but the 6x9's have a better sound all round.. so i dunno about that. depends on what you are running them with.. i think anything running off the head unit is usually pretty average..

I run a set of 6" x 9"s in the back, factory 4"s in the front (the only kind that seal... yes, phase cancellation people...) and a 300w amp and 10" sub, the fronts sound awesome if you crossover and eq them right, work it with the sub, no frequencies below 110htz theu the 4"s.

Worth putting door pods in the front and running 6.5" splits with the tweeters mounted in the A-frame, back 6"s are fine but either way your best off building a better parcel shelf, even if you don't want to fit larger speakers.

Yeah, Altho tweaters would be good.. Not a neccessity having some Nice 6.5" in the door-pods will really enhance your sound..

Ive only got Alpine 6" in the back and they sound pretty rad, Altho not a speaker that is made for bass.. A single subwooder will fix that up.
