click on search and type in mini spools..there's heaps of threads on it lad.
but to answer your question, you'd need a 28 spline mini spool.

what makes u think it would need rebuilding?? is so then i guess ill just have to get it done.
A spooled diff with 4.11's would have had alot of load on it mate. Might be fine for abit. Will need a rebuild eventually.Originally Posted by VN-SV-89-LE

that ratio is for like dragging isnt it and big burnouts
yeah its a very tall ratio...not good for fuel economy on highways etc...
You mean short. Smaller the number the taller the ratio.Originally Posted by 1991_Vn2nV

well guys iv just put the locked diff in mine, and.............and.............and............. iv neva had as fun in my car as i did this week end when i went for a cruise, a stock v6 with a locked diff is an awsome combo if u ask me, lol my car loves to kick out all the time now and i love it, i went down the back roads of werribee south and had a bit of fun. hehehehe its also a shit load easyer to handle too when its side ways i found it hard and alwasy griped hard when the single spinner was in, now its a locked diff its smooth to drift and easy to keep under control, even when the car is full on side ways.
but yer thats my little story hehe o and the ratio helps aswell id recon being 4.11's
I [heart] my minispool!
Any one have the answer to this question? I want a spool aswell, was wondering how hard the job is to install or if ill be better to take it to the local diff guy!?Originally Posted by gone_nutz13
m8 if u ask me, personally id take it to the diff place to asure that it was done correctlly but as for the of dsoing it urself i wouldnt have the Faintest idea how hard the job would be.
there is a thread around here somewhere that gives a link that i put up to a right on calaisturbo.com it shows basically in step by step format how to do it. It took me a day to do but i had a couple of hour breaks here and there. I also didnt know how to take my axles out nor did i know how to pull the centre out. Tip for removing axles. Get an old rim and bolt it on backwards. But no tight. Very loose infact. Just 1 or 2 turns on the thread. Now use the rim as a slide hammer and get it slide it back and forward till it pops off. And a tip for removing the centre. A BIG LEVER BAR!!!
