running rich

hey guys my vn is blowin a bit of white smoke out the exhaust more so much when you gice it throttle i am sure its runnin to rich how do i stop it from running rich?? coz my car just looks shit with a cloud of whit smoke from the exhaust

I don't think it's running rich. If you want you can try reseting the computer (is it your SS or exec?). White smoke could be a bad transmission shift modulator which is allowing the engine to suck and burn transmission fluid (obviously not if it's your 5spd exec) or coolant is getting into the combustion chambers and being burned. Check for a bad head gasket or broken head.
