VQ Stato series 1 & 2 garnish differences

Hi, can anyone tell me the differences between the series 1 and 2 VQ Statesman garnish, I've compared a few photos and about all I can see different is the two chrome strips on the series 2?

series 2 has chrome strips, series 1 doesnt.

Series two had a badge on it stating Series two.I think it was on the lefthand side.
