fuel pump removal

would anybody happen to know how to remove the fuel pump from the pickup assembly?

I have removed the assembly from the tank just need to know how to remove pump from the actual assembly?

So if any body has any ideas or could scan an exploded pic from a manual and post it i would be most appreciative.

Ok well Ya gotta disconnect the wiring connectors from the fuel guage sender unit and then loosen the hose clamp and remove the fuel hose hose from the fuel guage sender unit as well.

Then remove the retaining screws from the fuel guage sender unit and manouvre the sender unit and the fuel pump assembly from the fuel tank.
Disconnect the wiring from the fuel pump and remove the strainer from the fuel pump inlet.

Then ya just need to slide the pulsator along the pick-up tube until it is clear of the fuel pump outlet...then manouvre the fuel pump from the mounting bracket.
