knockin noise from LH strut

hey all

tryin to work out what would cause a knocking noise over any sort of bumps.. recently got my car dumped and wondering if swaybar links could cause a knocking noise? if not would it be strut top mounts or shocker nut?

which sound about right?

could be absolutly anything. I have this problem also and its cause one of my new shocks are crapped itself. I have to call autobarn up on monday.

i have the extact same problem and the problem is my sway bar link bushes are ****ed and the sway bar links are moving around

i also explained to my mate the problem im having and hes vr is doin the exact same thing, and what do you know its the sway bar links bushes

so if i was u i would replace them (there cheap) anyway and see how you go

I had exactly the same problem about amonth ago after i lowered my car a week or so later i had a knock on my lh strut.All i had to do to fix it was slide up the rubber boot on the strut and tighten the nut up that keeps the shocker tight.
