5ltr - oil pressure light not working

i just noticed i have no oil pressure light before i start my car... i changed the globe but its still doesnt work...

i tryed unpluging the wire going to the oil sender and the light still stays off....

if the sender is f*cked shouldent the light stay on all the time?
