LOL. The aftermarket ones arnt that bad.
There are also 12 different fuel pumps for the VP model from Holdens.
From memory Genuine Pumps are about $220-$230
just go to u pull it and get one cheap.
The CAS from Repco is $40 without bracket or $70 with the bracket. Not sure on fiting costs though.Originally Posted by surfer dude

Nah, I didn't put it on myself, a mate did it for me. It's fairly easy though, providing you have the right tools.Originally Posted by surfer dude
All you have to do is remove the harmonic balancer, which is prick of a job unless you have a pulley puller thingy. (I'm not sure what exactly it is called!) and the rest is pretty straight forward. It's just a matter of taking the old CAS off, and putting the new one on.
Before you put the balancer back on, make sure the CAS lines up with the metal bits on the balancer before you go bolting it back on!
Oh, and a little tip, remove the thermo fan from the radiator. You'll have heaps more room to get that balancer off!!

Try all states. About $1800 trade, for a tough box with shift kit and corvett servo.
