Injector clicking noise a problem?

Hi guys i have a VN s1 auto and every time my engines running theres a loud clicking noise coming from the injectors. Also sometimes when i start it up it kinda back fires but it starts again afta couple turns otha then that starts fine everytime is this somehow linked to injector noise? any info would be awesome thanx

could have blocked injectors,

remove the fuel rail (4 belts) then pop a injector out and check it
might be useful to run some injector cleaner through them aswell,
ive got a spare set of injectors if you want them they still work just need cleaning

ticking can be caused by other things aswell, how to find out, with the engine running put your hand on a injector

Just by the way injectors work, they tick. It shouldn't be crazy loud or anything, but they do make a ticking sound.

Yeh mine did that get them cleaned or replaced.

Me i had a new set of V6 supercharged injectors from the JC shop already waiting to go in so i got them cleaned and put in.

Like mouce said, small tick but nothing loud.

I bought some 2nd hand injectors off ebay, ima have a look how good cond they are in when i get them. say i had to clean them tho, how do u recon the best way is to do that? Ive herd a method of hooking up a 9V battery to the terminals to open it up then let them soak in metho? What do you guys think?

thanx PaRaDoX616 its definatly the injectors can feel em but it feels like all 6 ive put bout 6 injector cleaners through over the last 2 months and hasnt done anything. input in great thanx guys

I bought new injectors last year and they just click or tick, Once the bonnet is up they are louder but when down you really shouldn't here them.

Ticking is normal, but a very loud ticking so that there is a problem.

ok, go to repco, get your self some carby cleaner, a 9V battery and some wires
and run the carby cleaner through the injectors out of the car using the 9V battery to pulse the carby cleaner through, should be good after that, i dont like fuel tank injector cleaners really
