    Default Starter motor tripping circit breaker ARH help!

    hey guys, car decided it wasnt going to like me this week,

    the starter motor stripped the ring gear,

    got a new flex plate going in tommorrow fitted a new starter and the bastard wont start, as it turns over it just clicks once then the car looses complete power untill the battery is disconnected, im thinking it might be a short????

    anyone else got any suggestions

    well its fixed now, LUCKY i didnt wait to replace the flex plate, turns out the old starter was only engauging %50, so as a result it was grinding... threw a new starter in that i got for free and she goes beatifully, starts like a new car.. i think the starters freshly reco'd

    so flex plate dosnt need to be done ring gears a bit rooted but meh starts perfectly now

    lucky i spent the last 5 hours on it, saved $500
