v8 starter motors

hey guys im just wondering is the any diff between the manual and auto starter motor for a 5 litre injected, not even a week of owning my new car if its got probs, bah!!!! wahe can ya do hey!

so if anyone can tell me that would be great as i wont to get it done today, OH! and btw is it a prick of a job, how much is involved in the job?

from memory
auto 9 tooth starter
manual 11 tooth starter
replacment time around 15minutes fairly easy

Yeh, all you need to do is get under your car, take the flywheel cover off, then you should be able to get to it easy, i know on auto v6 its located on the passenger side of the car. May be diferent in your case...
