broken bonnet cable????

hey, went to pull my bonnet release yesterday and it snapped
cable snapped from the other side so i cant pull it with plyers

how can i get the bonnet open to replace the cable and where does the cable run???

if you hav to rip off your gril, then underneith you should be able to get hold of cable or if there is no cable left, get a screwdriver and jimmy the latch back, do a search there is heaps on it

yeah grille off then a driver up and move clamp...

anyway cable didnt snap just came off, re attached and she works like new, thanks for the help tho CSL

I was going to say jack it up at the front and grab a screw driver thats how my mechanic did myn.

yeah, a snapped cable would be a pain in the pooper i reset th cable, its too tight now, bonnet keeps popping up

So it will only work if you get your mates at about 3? Is that 3am or 3pm mate? Man some people should go back to school and learn a little.
