VS Stato taco into VN

Hey fellas, I was woundering if any of you would know if a VS Stato V6 dash cluster would fit into my VN. A mate has one of these laying around and apparently it looks exactly the same as the VN calais ones. So if its the same size and shape and all would it fit and wire up ok?

EDIT: Ive just found out that its not possible to do this as the pins are different and cause the clusters to short out.
