    Default Alternative Surge Tank?

All the VN's i've seen have got split surge tanks. I was just wondering if ther's any alternative that will fit, and that won't crack due to heat and age. I noticed in this thread that Hozy has got something different set up on his on the passenger side of the engine bay but couldn't tell what it's off or how he's done it.

Any ideas? The water loss is really starting to annoy me!!

Yeah thats the pic. How did you manage to change the tank to the other side of the car? And what tank is it? It looks really nicely done! No idea how you did it though!

Look at a series 1 engine bay, then look at a series 2 engine bay..

    Look at radiators & bottles.

    You'll See what i've done

I didn't know. That's why I asked I'm still learning about the different bits and pieces on different models / series as i've only been out here 4 months.

OR you could just have 2 surge tanks like mine, its a series 1.5, dunno why they done that. It's got one either side....

Thats my plan 2 Hozy, It's really stupid on the pre-series 2 without radiator cap and whatnot. Just gotta go out and get myself a s2 radiator

anyone give me a good idea on prices for a reco??

Yeah, I think you said it's an S1 in one of the other posts about your car. I can't believe how much work you've put into it!! Good stuff
