Default Pics Of VN/VP's with 18" and 19" Wheels

Hey everyone, I was after some pics of 18" and 19" wheels on VN and VP commodores...

Just wondering how big that extra inch difference really is..

Any pics would be sweet, cheers in advance!

    Mine has 18"s

I was going to go for 19"s but with the difference in price it was not justified..
I spend too much money on my cars & bike

depends man, i got 18"s and my tyres are $350 a piece, but i agree that tyres for 19"s are more expensive. i had enough trouble fitting the 18's - had to get the guards rolled and panhard rod bushes replaced.

Yeah my guards are already rolled and an adjustable panhard rod on its way too. I know 245's will be a no no, but hoping 19" 235's still fit underneath.

Im not looking forward to having to replace the tyres, but thats a long way down the track at the moment...

But thats the main issue holding me back at the moment. I want to go in and put a deposit down next week on the wheels I want, XHP Sabers... But 19" are another $400 more which im happy to pay but its tyre prices also that are swaying my decision... If 18's look big enough for me, thats what I will stick to...but at the moment they look a tad small from what I've seen on cars with kits like mine. They look big on VN's like 89vncommy's but with my bulky kit..

Heres mine with 18' VT GTS's. Im having the same problem as you but between 19's or 20's.
Also with fitting the 18's went on without a problem, suspension is FE2 front and 1" lower then FE2 in the ass.

id say to just go 18"...the price in rubber jumps about $400+ from 18" to 19", its just not worth it, and you'll be up for a hefty tyre bill each time you need to replace them in the future.

lol 20's are probably that little big. I'll leave 20's to Felony here in Adelaide.

Is that red VN 20"? If so I think definitely 19"!!!

18's with my kit will appear to be that little bit too small I think...

Depends on the style of wheel as well. I have seen some VN's with 20's and they look rediculus. I think 19 at a minimum and possibly a 20...........put it this way, if your spending that much on rims the shop should be willing to trial fit them for you to get an idea.
What rim are you looking at?

To tell you guys the truth IMO I think anything over 19" looks silly, full stop. When I do my mags I'll be looking at 18". The less the tread the more you rattle and bump remember. Is the size worth the rattle, bump and rubber cost?

    Come on guys,
Drive a car with 18s, and then one with 19s...your talking crap if you say you can feel a difference in ride quality. Both will have 35 or 40 series tyres, around 38psi, its bumpy either way.
19*8.5s with a 235/35/19 tyre. Rolled rear gaurds, bumped in inner rear gaurds, adjustable panhard rod. Extremely low.
dooo eeet. The price difference isnt THAT much and you will regret it later.
    My car...
Edit : btw my tyres are $260 each I think. Nankangs. last for ages. good tyres

    Yeah, sorta, I suppose.
19s look great on vn/vps if you get the ride height right.

It looks like it will, but trust me, it doesn't. lol.
Can fit a finger between rolled gaurd lip and wheel rim.
Theres not that much sideways movement of the diff, 'cause theres not really a heap of suspension travel compared to a stock height VP

If you put a VL Turbo Diff in it shortens the overall length of the rear axel and brings the rims in off the guard, correct?
