VN S1 Cam

Hey, Just got myself a VN. its a 6 with a 5spd, Just wondering if anyone out there has put a cam in there vn and if there was any good gains with doing so and what kind prices ect..... i am planning on chipping it soonish as well.

Anyone out there got a nice story on a cam/chip combo they have setup i would love to know about it

Also after owning 253 and 308's and knowing the gains from some mild head work are there significant gains on doing headwork on a v6?

Any Knowlege on these topics would be apreciated

Yeah there's good gains on the early V6 with heads. Most people get around 145-155 rwkw with good heads and a cam + exhaust. Without the heads maybe 130-135 rwkw

been looking on the crow website looking at Part No: 6071562 i dunno much about cams but would that be a Alright sort of cam for some extra grunt and bit more of a Rumble, Not looking for too many horseies just a bit more rev range to play with..... Obviously just any old perfomance chip to go in it...... might just try that and then save some more dollars up for head work if im not happy with it....

you'll find that all cams that slot into the buick 6 come with a made to suit chip to suit the lift, and duration etc
