vn bonet scoop

hey all just avout to put a bonnetscoop on my car and justwanted to know will just urathane be enough to hold it ?????

yeah, as long as you don't go over 60.

is it a scoop that'll do anything? ie:- will there be a hole in the bonnet that'll lead to your air filter? or is it for wank factor?

no it wont do anythink its a vn bulge scoop so it must be for the wank factor

well most scoops on vn-vp v6 are for wank factor considering the airbox is at the front of the engine bay.

what sort of scoop are you putting on?
i want to put one on mine

just the standard vn bulge scoop

but all i want to know putting poly urathane on alone will hold it or di i need to scre it down as well

when my brother put a scoop on his torana it was screwed down as well.
sicaflex could also work

isn't sicaflex applied to keep those gay as strips down on the VN's?

i dunno if i'd recommend that if it is the stuff i'm thinking about.

yes thats the stuff. if they use it to hold them down i dont see the problem
