See my thread here about the same topic: oxygen sensor replacement
Do you have a repair manual like Gregory's handy to check the troubleshooting section for a recommendation on the action required?
I'll check my manual tonight and advise.
try $40-90Originally Posted by calais_cruzin
o2 sensor isnt required to run the car, infact most poeple with forced induction dont run one at all...
it detects how rich the car is running and ajusts the fuel accordingly
i paid $41 for a new one (not genuine) off ebay and it was delivered to my door ($35 +$6 postage)
to change it its, simple as hell
1.purchase a single wire o2 sensor
2.move car into a suitable location and allow the engine to cool down
3.once engine/headers are cold enough to touch remove air piping
4. unplug o2 sensor whcih is on the passengerside header
5. using a smallish shifter/C spanner undo the o2 sensor
6. put the new one in and tighten it
7. plug it back in and bang there u go
pretty simple![]()
if the car is on lpg it will always come on
Stato on the inside, berlina on the out side,5ltr under the bonnet, stockies all round...........that thing has to be a sleeper

Check your car's owner's manual, must be in there.

Car is running 96, engine light didn't come on before chip was put in, I will do a fault test though and see if connection is loose or of the sensor needs replacing
