vp to calais dash

i want to change my dash to a calais dash but need help,do you need a new computer?

You dont but you need 3 things the dash ,the lefthand switchblock and the additional wiring with no 4 plug .The wiring I have , taken from a calais ...yours for 30 bucks if you want complete with additional wire for fuel flow that goes into the connector near ecm.
One drama is the switchblock mode/reset/+/- contacts for trip computer goes in place of interior light delay electronics on printed circuitboard on switchblock ....two options do without it totally so you shut door light goes off immediately or mount electronics for delay remotely and retain delay.....
Ive done the later and it works well...even extended the delay time by increasing a resistor.

So what did you do to get your interior light working again?

How did you install the old circuit board once the Calais PCB and trip computer buttons were put in and where did you locate it?

Heres how I did it but you can just join 2 wires ( a white wire to one of the white/green wires)together if you want to get it to come on and go off when you open and close the door with no delay.
