Default VQ and VS irs axles same?

I was wondering if anyone know if the irs axels out of a vs stato or calais will bolt straight into a VQ stato without changing the cvs or anything pretty much a straight replacement. Please help.

Check with GM spares, different axels will have different part numbers showing that either the splines, length, diameter are not the same.

While unrelated, I changed rear ends on the old VS single spinner with a LSD out of a VN rear end, all was the same except for brake line fittings.
