    Default Exhaust... Hmmm

Hey all... Concidering my Cat Converter has been dead for about 6months now an the smell is finally getting to me. I'm thinking about finally getting a new exhaust system.

I'm looking at a VT 6 Cat converter (Is there any difference?)

And a 2.5" Mandral bent with Magnaflow center muffler cat back exhaust with no rear muffler.

I just need another $150 or so for this to happen. So I'm trying to sell stuff... LoL

Not a fancy system... Just I was never going to do exhaust until I needed to... Well... I need to because old ones finally falling apart.

    Hmm curious...........

What exhaust does everyone else run... Mufflers? Cats? Dimensions?

    Cheers
    MaT

2 Exhaust variants I'll either go FOR CHEAP!

VT Cat, 2.5" Mandral bent exhaust into Magnaflow Muffler, 2.5" out into a hotdog, then twin 2.5" Dump tips...

VT Cat, 2.5" Mandral bent exhaust into Redback Muffler, 2.5" Straight through rear with twin 2.5" Dump tips...

Get a straight through muffler or centre expansion unit... Doesnt really matter what cat you get.

A hotdog at the back would stop droning and give you a deeper, meaner note when you do accelerate if ya get the right kind. Again get a straight through or centre expansion style man.

Redback for the win in my opinion. Pacemaker headders, followed by a 2.5" Redback system

I have pacemakers up front, then twin stock cats, with Lukey mufflers, and a nice big oval tip at the end. Couldn't be happier

You should get a good flowing cat, straight through muffler and a big arse (stock) resonator on the back, that should make it crackle pretty nice without being loud

Stock exhaust manifold, stock cat, 2.5" pipe, straight through lukey muffler, 2.5" pipe (no resonator).. Sounds pretty good in my opinion, nice idle sound too. Really deep up to about 3 grand, sound completley changes and goes mental! Its still a V6, but its sounds pretty bloody good. Set me back $300

Guys i need HELP! If i got a 2.5" catback system with just a centre muffler, does that mean I don't have a resonator on my car? Cos my car ain't loud enough and i was going to get it taken off but I'm worried I already may not have one.

I have a 2.5"" reback from the catback (everything else stock), sounds alright pretty loud.
A mate of mine has the same car model as me but got a lukey catback and I must say his sounds 100x better
    Much for full,meaty,deep,etc.

The redback just sounds loud not good.
